Francesc Comas Closas

(Manresa 1952). Geògraf i historiador. Ha estat professor de Primària, Secundària i Universitat.
Des de fa molts anys es va dedicar a la didàctica de les Ciències Socials i a la divulgació de la geografia i història de Manresa, el Bages i Catalunya. Ha realitzar nombroses visites, itineraris, cursos de divulgació històrica i ha publicat un gran nombre de llibres sobre Manresa, entitats i institucions. Des de 2006 pública setmanalment una pàgina d’Història del Bages a Regió7.
