Àngel Guimerà, “personatge del mes”

Memoria.cat/edu, el portal educatiu de Memoria.cat, publica un nou personatge del mes: Àngel Guimerà i Jorge (1845-1924), amb motiu dels 100 anys de la seva mort, esdevinguda el 18 de juliol del 1924.

Dramaturg, poeta i polític que va participar en fets importants del catalanisme polític de finals del XIX i principis del XX.

El 1909 la ciutat de Manresa li va retre un homenatge i va tenir una rebuda multitudinària i va rebre nombrosos mostres d’afecte.
