L’Associació Memòria i Història de Manresa us desitja un Bon Nadal i un molt Bon Any 2014. Aprofitem l’ocasió per recordar-vos un document d’excepció que vam donar a conèixer fa un temps a través del nostre portal: una carta de Joan Alavedra que dóna a conèixer la primera vegada que Pau Casals va interpretar El cant dels ocells en públic. Era en ple exili, a Prada de Conflent (Catalunya Nord), l’any 1941. Alavedra hi explica que quan Pau Casals finalitzà l’actuació, “nosaltres ploràvem, tots, la pàtria momentàniament perduda”.
