Genís Frontera Vila és llicenciat en Història i amb Certificat d’Aptitud Pedagògica en Ciències socials per la UAB. Màster interuniversitari en Història contemporània i Postgrau en Gestió del Patrimoni cultural local.

Ha col·laborat a les revistes El Brogit i Ordint la trama; i als diaris Regió7 i Nació Manresa, amb opinió i articles sobre memòria històrica. Actualment escriu a la revista Sàpiens.
